Soccer time again

Today was Micayla's first soccer game. This season she is playing thru All Star Sports Arena and we are excited because none of her games will ever be rained out. Her teams name is the bears.. It's always fun watching her play her favorite sport. She is very competitive, but also very caring and soft hearted when others get hurt. It's gonna be a fun season.. Go Bears!!

Open House and Ice Cream Social

The MOST rewarding job !!

I started work Monday at Shiloh school working full time in the kitchen. What a blessing!!
I get to see my kids everyday and be home when they're home.
I work with an awesome group of ladies and just could not ask for a better job. It is hard work but fun at the same time. It has been a long time since I have worked because I was always blessed with getting to stay home with each of my kids, but now that Micayla is in Kindergarten 5 day's a week I decided I was ready to do something and what better thing to do than to have a job where you can be around your kids and be home during the summer and holidays when they are.
This is by far the MOST rewarding job, for me .

First day of Kindergarten

Today was Micayla's first day of Kindergarten !! Her teacher is Mrs. Sharp and she's super nice, Micayla really likes her :) It was hard on me this morning, but working there made it a little easier :) I'm very proud of Micayla and hope this is a super fun year for her!

First day of school

Today is Shiloh's first day for the secondary (high school). Aca is in the 6th and Deric is in the 11th !! Hard to believe how fast my boy's are growing up.

Roller City

Micayla finally got to go skating and "really skate" in a rink. She was super happy and is ready to go back.. She and Aca skated and played skating games from 1 til 3 Saturday.

I have to say, the music they played and watching the kids really brought back some memories. I couldn't keep from cracking up the whole time.

Skating in the house

Skating in the house is not something we normally let our kids do, however, Micayla has been wanting roller skates and to learn to skate for a while now , so we broke down and got her some and we're making her start off in the house.. probably lame to some of you but she's actually doing pretty good.. The day we first bought them we made her try in the garage (with me and Mica) on each side of her holding her hands and that didn't work at all.. she was flopping all over the place, so Mica said try on the rug in the house then go from there to the hardwoods and the ceramic tiles (scary) but she's really doing well and doing it without our help..
