Finally over pneumonia~shew!!

Micayla has been sick with pneumonia and an ear infection and sinus infection for two weeks.
The pediatrician started her out on the strongest antibiotic, once a day and it didn't phase the pneumonia at all, so they switched to a different one, three times a day that she is still on and will be for several more days to clear her up. She is definately feeling and acting a lot better, let's just hope this anti. clears it all out of her chest.
Pneumonia is some crazy stuff. We've never had it before and don't want it ever again. It's sad watching your child sit up in bed and gasp for air before coughing "a lung up", it just sounds really bad!! Anyway, I think we're on the road to complete recovery~ as for Deric, since the cardiologist checked him and gave us the heart monitor , his heart has not messed up once..go figure! I am super thankful, and happy about it. As a matter of fact I believe that all of our prayers and prayers of friends and family has been heard by our father above, and he has touched Deric. So Thank You Lord !
I won't leave Aca out, so here's a tid bit on him.. He hasn't been sick, Praise the Lord! He has his last basketball game this Saturday before the big tournament, and so far his team is undefeated!!!! Yay 5th graders :) .. We'll see what happens Saturday~ Go Shiloh!!

Valentine's for Nursinghomes

Monday, Micayla and I heard on KLRC that they were needing lots of Valentine cards for nursinghomes so we decided to help out. What a great feeling to give something to those that may never get anything like a valentine. It blessed us both just working on them together and knowing it was for a good cause. For anyone else who would like to do it as well just make some at home and then drop them off at Atlanta Bread Co. in Fayetteville, or Rogers and KLRC will pick them up. We only have until Wednesday..
Happy Valentine's Day!
