Gymnastics

Today after Micayla's gymnastic's class she came running out with this certificate in her hand saying Congratulations you have moved up to the next class. She just moved up to this class after Christmas break and now she's moving up again. I am very proud of her!
We have been going to Durhams Gymnastics since she was 18 months old. It was a "mommy and me" class when she was younger and now it is so fun watching her do everything on her own. Way to go sissy :)

Deric and Micayla

Micayla has taken up a new sport, basketball... so on the way home from church today she asked Deric if he wanted to play "baxetball" and here he is showing her how to dribble correctly.
She said she loves playing basketball with her brothers.
Soccer hasn't quite ended yet, and I can tell it's gonna be a little bit harder to keep her busy this summer. She loves sports and playing outside. She also loves swimming and would do it all year around if she wouldn't freeze to death doing it :). Thank goodness we're going to the beach and to Universal soon, that will be a big help in keeping her occupied.

These are my flowers in my front yard. I am very happy to have some bright colors outside after all of the ice we had.

Micayla wanted to go to the park today and play so here are some shots of her swinging and just hangin' around on the bars.

Spring Soccer

Micayla had her first soccer game last Saturday which started out a little slow, then she kicked back into gear just like during Fall soccer and she played hard! She scored 5 of her team's 6 goals. Way to go sissy, and way to go Galaxy !!
